Autodidact Hubert Moeyaert maakt kunst uit oud ijzer: dieren, mensen, auto’s en motorfietsen vervaardigd uit materiaal dat anders goed is voor de schroot… Met zijn kunstwerken probeert de kunstenaar de mensen te laten zien dat je met oud ijzer toch nog iets nieuws kunt maken. Het metaal krijgt hierdoor als het ware een tweede leven. Het gebruik van onder andere hoefijzers en tandwielen levert verrassende kunstwerken op.
