In het dorp Laforêt, een van de mooiste dorpen van Wallonië, wordt elke zomer een vlechtwerkbrug (claies) over de Semois geplaatst. Het bruggetje wordt in de herfst afgebroken. De claies zijn panelen van gevlochten hazelnoothout die op boomstammen worden gelegd en de rivier overspannen. Dit maakt het mogelijk om te voet van de ene oever naar de andere over te steken.
Dit is een erfenis van de tabaksplanters, die het gebruikten om zonder omwegen naar het vruchtbare land langs de rivier te gaan.
Hij is 80 meter lang (voor het grote en het kleine deel) en bestaat uit ongeveer 75 panelen. Deze brug verbindt Vresse en Laforêt.
