Met zijn grootte van 5 hectarea straalt deze indrukwekkende vijver een rust uit, die wandelaars zeker bekoort. Met haar lengte van ongeveer 2 km vormt het wandelpad rond de vijvers van de Brusselse Forten een ideale uitvalbasis voor hengelaars en joggers.
