Waarnaar de Galgenbergstraat leidde in de loop van de geschiedenis is zonder meer duidelijk. Noteer dat je dicht bij de grens van het buurdorp bent. Net zoals de kerncentrales vandaag dicht bij de landsgrenzen gebouwd worden, zo gaven onze voorvaderen er de voorkeur aan om de galg, die geassocieerd werd met het kwaad, liefst zover mogelijk van het dorpscentrum te situeren.
