Living Nature is een geluidsinstallatie rond
een wandelpad. 24 onzichtbaar ingegraven
luidsprekers scheppen een kunstmatige natuur
in een echte natuurlijke omgeving. Je hoort
het bekende geluid van dieren, wind en water,
maar ook klanken die verwarren omdat ze niet
in de omgeving thuishoren. Deze ingreep is
een auditieve trompe-l’oeil die op een speelse
manier de menselijke perceptie van de natuur
wil benaderen en demystifi ceren. Ze benadrukt
de zichtbare onwaarschijnlijkheid van het
gecreëerde landschap.
