Het Bois de la Louvière is een bos dat deel uitmaakt van de bosgordel van de getuigeheuvels van de regio. Een getuigenheuvel is een min of meer geïsoleerde en erosiebestendige heuvel in het landschap. De erosiebestendige grondlaag in de heuvel is ‘getuige’ van een sedimentaire afzetting die ooit het hele landschap bedekte, maar later door erosie werd versnipperd. Het bos ligt vrijwel geheel in Flobecq. Het is beschermd als Europees Natura 2000-gebied onder de naam "Vallée de la Rhosnes".
