De OLV La Salettekerk is de parochiekerk van Louise-Marie, een gehucht op de grens van Maarkedal en Ronse. De eerste steen werd gelegd in 1850 en op die dag stierf de eerste Belgische koningin, Louise Marie van Orléans, wat de naam van het dorp zou verklaren. Deze parochie ontstond uit de natuurlijke verbon-denheid van inwoner in de omliggende dorpen Ellezelles, Ronse, Nukerke, Scho-risse en Etikhove.
