Naast het klooster van Heidberg staat een standbeeld van Jezus die een kruis op zijn schouders draagt.
Het is uit dankbaarheid van de zusters Rekollektinnen voor "de extra bescherming 1940 - 1945".
Het kruis vertegenwoordigt de overwinning op de zonde en ook dat het christelijk leven wordt gekenmerkt door vreugde, vrede en kracht. Tegelijkertijd is er ook het lijden. Het kruis vertegenwoordigt Gods liefde en verlossingsplan, wat werd bereikt door het lijden van Jezus.
