Vreemd deze link, wetende dat Everard t'Serclaes op een gruwelijke manier verminkt werd door handlangers van de kasteelheer van Gaasbeek, Sweder van Abcoude. Hij zou hier aan zijn verminkingen overlijden.
Op de onderkant van diezelfde steen is te zien hoe de duivel aan de haal gaat met de ziel van Sweder van Abcoude.
