This route was made for the Gravel & Coffee series, a monthly social ride every first sunday of the month. more info at gravelandcoffee.cc
You will start in the heart of the city. after a cobbled exit you will hit some back roads through the suburbans north from Ghent, after passing the ringvaart, the gravel festival really starts. next the old canal ‘De Lieve’ on fast rolling roads we go and search a trough playground in the Lembeekse Bossen. All good roads but when wet very muddy track and around km 22 there is a small passage on a private road. You can easy go round by following the big road your on and on the first crossing go left. less beautiful, however the more wise choice.
