Het Musée d'ethnographie de Genève is een ethnografisch museum in de Zwitserse stad Genève. Het museum werd in 1901 opgericht nadat Eugène Pittard, toenmalig hoofd anthropologie van de Universiteit van Genève, besloot meerdere private en publieke collecties samen te brengen in een museum. In 1939 verhuisde dit museum naar een nieuwe locatie die in 1941 opende. In 1949 werd het museum uitgebreid. Tussen 1980 en 2001 waren er drie afgewezen plannen om het museum te verhuizen naar een groter pand. In 2007 stemde de gemeente in met een plan om het huidige museumgebouw flink uit te breiden en te moderniseren. Dit nieuwe museum opende zijn deuren in 2014. In 2017 werd het uitgeroepen tot Europees museum van het jaar.
