Alkersum , is een gemeente en plaats op het waddeneiland Föhr. Bestuurlijk hoort het bij het Amt Föhr-Amrum in de Kreis Noord-Friesland in de Duitse deelstaat Sleeswijk-Holstein. Het plaatsje telt 397 inwoners.
Alkersum ligt op de oostelijke helft van het eiland. Anders dan op de westelijke helft, waar deels nog Noord-Fries wordt gesproken, is de omgangstaal een Nedersaksisch dialect.
