Laage is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren, en maakt deel uit van het Landkreis Rostock.
Laage telt 5.382 inwoners en heeft al sinds het begin van de 14e eeuw stadsrechten.
Rond 1980 werd nabij Laage een luchtmachtbasis gebouwd. Hier waren het Jagdbombenfliegergeschwader 77 en het Marinefliegergeschwader 28 van de Oost-Duitse luchtmacht gestationeerd. Sinds 1994 wordt de luchtmachtbasis ook civiel gebruikt en staat bekend onder de naam Flughafen Rostock-Laage. In 2007 verwerkte dit vliegveld 200.000 passagiers.
