Simmern/Hunsrück is een stad in de Duitse deelstaat Rijnland-Palts. Het is de Kreisstadt van de Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis.
Simmern/Hunsrück telt 7.860 inwoners.
Het bekendste bouwwerk in de stad is de Schinderhannesturm, de voormalige kruittoren. Hier zat de rover Johannes Bückler alias Schinderhannes gevangen vanaf februari 1799 tot hij in augustus van dat jaar wist te ontsnappen. In de toren is een permanente tentoonstelling over Schinderhannes ingericht.
