Kreuzau is een plaats en gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Noordrijn-Westfalen, gelegen in de Kreis Düren. Kreuzau telt 17.422 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 41,72 km².
Een belangrijke, hoewel slechts secundaire, weg loopt door het Rur-dal. Van Kreuzau via Niederau bereikt men na 9 km het centrum van Düren. Vijf km ten noorden van Düren ligt afrit 7 van de Autobahn A4.
Stockheim, 5 km ten oosten van Kreuzau, ligt aan de Bundesstraße 56 van Düren naar Zülpich en, verderop, Euskirchen . Enkele kilometers voor Euskirchen kruist men bij afrit 110 de Autobahn A1.
