Oberlahnstein is een stadsdeel van Lahnstein in de Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rijnland-Palts. Tot 1969 was de plaats een zelfstandige gemeente binnen de Landkreis.
Oberlahnstein ligt aan de rechterzijde van de Rijn en aan de linkerkant van de Lahn, bij de monding van de Lahn in de Rijn.
