Het grenst aan Bad Wilhelmshöhe, Harleshausen, Rothenditmold en de Voorste Westen. Kirchditmold werd in 1906 geannexeerd door Kassel. Ook vandaag de dag vertoont deze wijk dorpsachtige structuren, zo bevindt de kerk van Kirchditmold zich in het centrum van de wijk, waar ook de winkelstraten Teich- en Zentgrafenstraße liggen.
