Haus Vorst is een goed bewaarde hoogburcht in het westelijke Bergische Land aan de overgang naar de Rijndalen.
Het kasteel ligt in het zuiden van de stad Leichlingen, aan de grens met de Leverkusense wijk Bergisch Neukirchen. Het verheft zich op een beboste heuvel, de Vorster Busch, boven een bocht van de Wupper aan de rechterkant van de rivier. Haus Vorst is vanuit het centrum van Leichlingen te bereiken via de Haus-Vorster-Weg.
