Het station Baumholder is het eindstation van de spoorlijn Heimbach–Baumholder. Het station ligt in het centrum van de stad Baumholder in de rijnland-pfälzische Landkreis Birkenfeld. Tussen 1981 en december 2014 diende het uitsluitend voor het goederenvervoer van de Amerikaanse strijdkrachten en de Bundeswehr.
Nadat in 1897 al de bouw van een zijlijn Heimbach–Baumholder was goedgekeurd, maar niet was uitgevoerd, werd in 1908 begonnen met de bouw van de spoorlijn. Op 15 december 1912 werd de lijn uiteindelijk geopend. Ondanks de kort daarna begonnen Eerste Wereldoorlog ontwikkelde het verkeer op de aftakking zich behoorlijk goed.
