Via de beklimmingen van de Puerto de Finestrat en Puerto de Tudons beland je in het achterland van de Costa Blanca. Via Penaguila en een korte steile afdaling en steile klim ga je richting het dorpje Gorga. Via de schilderachtige en zeer rustige weg langs Quatretondeta, fiets je (tot Facheca is dit langzaam klimmend) naar Castell de Castells. Overigens na passage van Quatretondeta (in de richting van Facheca) kun je vanaf de doorgaande weg (in zuidelijke richting) de hoge naaldvormige rotsformaties (Els frares de Quatretondeta) zien die tegen het gebergte van de Sierra de Serrella geplakt lijken te zijn. Nadat je langs Castell de Castells bent gefietst, beklim je de Collado de Bixauca en daarna ga je grotendeels dalend terug naar Benidorm.
