Oloron-Sainte-Marie is een gemeente in Frankrijk en tevens de hoofdstad van het arrondissent Oloron-Sainte-Marie. Het ligt bij de rivieren Gave d'Ossau en Gave d'Aspe. De gemeente telde 10.594 inwoners op 1 januari 2019.Oloron-Sainte-Marie gaat terug op een Romeinse nederzetting die werd verwoest bij de barbaarse invallen. Vanaf de vierde eeuw was dit de zetel van een bisdom en dit tot 1790. Hiervan is 12de-eeuwse kathedraal Sainte-Marie d'Oloron getuige. In de elfde eeuw werd de stad uitgebouwd tot een militair en commercieel centrum door de burggraaf van Béarn.
