In het hart van de Périgord Noir zijn de tuinen van Haute-Terre, bekend als de tuinen op het dak van de Sarladais, in het jaar 2000 aangelegd binnen het Parc naturel de l'Hermitage.
Dominant, het verre omarmend, stellen ze zich open voor ontdekking: een smeltkroes van biodiversiteit.
In grote vrijheid laden deze etnobotanische studietuinen op, informeren ze en geven ze door: een multibranche-ontdekking met een naturalistische structuur, op een oppervlakte van 4 ha. Het historisch erfgoed van de mens in het hart van een geodetische, archeologische, panoramische en geologische site op de zeebodem van het Boven-Krijt.
Een grote evolutionaire tuin waar het verleden samenkomt met het heden, in deze lange keten van de Mens in het hart van het Geheel dat zich daar ontvouwt
