Groot zandstrand, begrensd door een duin, met uitzicht op Baskenland. Winkels ter plaatse (restaurants, snacks, ijsjes) en activiteiten zoals surfen en zwemmen. Het strand heeft geen vuilnisbakken, zodat de gebruikers hun afval achterlaten. Gemakkelijke toegang voor PBM, maar zwemmen is moeilijk.
Honden moeten aangelijnd zijn op de strandopgangen. Honden zijn niet toegestaan op de trappen of in het verboden gebied. Toegang tot het strand is mogelijk buiten de bewakingszone.
Het strand van Ondres is bereikbaar met de auto, te voet, met de fiets (fietspad tussen het centrum, Tarnos of Labenne (Vélodyssée) en met de bus (netwerk TxikTxak). Bewaakte fietsenstalling in de zomer. RENOVATIEWERKZAAMHEDEN IN UITVOERING.
Campers kunnen op minder dan 500 m afstand parkeren (dag en nacht) op de daarvoor bestemde parkeerplaats (Campeole Park). Verschillende campings binnen 2 km van het strand.
