Het strand van Chambrette, gelegen aan de monding van de Gironde, is 's zomers bewaakt en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de haven van Le Verdon en de Charente-stranden van de monding van de Gironde
Vooral populair bij gezinnen met kinderen, zij kunnen zich in alle veiligheid in het water vermaken zonder angst voor de golven en er is ook een Mickey-club aanwezig. De nabijgelegen Cercle Nautique du Verdon biedt vele watersportactiviteiten
Dieren zijn tijdens de zomerperiode niet toegestaan op het strand, zie de regels die bij de ingang van het strand hangen.
