Het imposante stadhuis van Kaysersberg werd in 1604 gebouwd door de timmerman Dominique Haecher en diende als residentie en administratief centrum van de keizerlijke baljuw (de directe vertegenwoordiger van de keizer op het grondgebied van Kaysersberg).
Dit gebouw van zandsteen uit de Vogezen is een mooi voorbeeld van de stijl van de Rijnlandse Renaissance. Het bestaat uit een groot U-vormig gebouw met twee verdiepingen.
Op de eerste verdieping bevindt zich de raadszaal met cassettenplafond, lambrisering en prachtige originele deuren met inlegwerk.
