Patrick heeft het naar zijn zin op zijn werk, maar hij werkt te hard! Om zijn gezondheid te behouden wordt hij onvrijwillig opgenomen in een verpleeghuis. Voor het eerst in zijn leven hoeft hij niets te doen. Een slecht moment, want hij staat op het punt de grootste coup van zijn carrière te plegen!
"Verplichte Vakantie" is het verhaal van een man die geobsedeerd is door werk, geconfronteerd met de onverzettelijke blik van een "lichtelijk gestoorde" psycholoog!
Het stuk behandelt de onderwerpen werk, relaties en vaderschap met humor en gevoeligheid. De twee acteurs nemen ons mee door elke emotie, tot aan de uiteindelijke ontknoping... die voor velen als een verrassing zal komen!
