Van jongs af aan is Sébastien Gleize een kunstenaar in hart en nieren. Op 10-jarige leeftijd maakte hij zijn eerste houten voorwerp. Zeven jaar later bracht hij zijn passie in de praktijk en studeerde hij meubelmaken aan de beroemde École Boulle in Parijs. Hij perfectioneerde zijn vaardigheden als meubelmaker. Daarna, met zijn diploma in de hand, begon hij direct hout te snijden. De beeldhouwer stelde zijn werk tentoon op verschillende culturele evenementen in de Parijse voorsteden en in Mali. Hij heeft ook vier keer deelgenomen aan de Salon Comparaisons, dat elk jaar het werk van kunstenaars met verschillende gevoeligheden samenbrengt in het Grand Palais in Parijs. Sinds 2017 wijdt hij zich volledig aan zijn artistieke werk in zijn atelier, A L?Artmonie des deux chênes, in Léon, in de Landes streek.
