Langs de ommuring van het Parc de Richelieu (gratis te bezoeken) kunnen camperaars genieten van de onmiddellijke nabijheid van het centrum van de "ideale stad" die de beroemde kardinaal wenste, met verschillende winkels, restaurants en het Office du Tourisme.
Camperserviceplaats op minder dan een kilometer afstand, bij de ingang van de camping.
Plaatselijke attracties zijn onder andere de Espace Richelieu en het Richelieu Museum, waar je meer te weten kunt komen over de geschiedenis van de stad.
Op de fiets: een groene route leidt naar het Etang d'Assay (een kwetsbaar natuurgebied), de Sainte Chapelle de Champigny-sur-Veude, de tuinen van het Château du Rivau en de stad Chinon (20 km).
