Uitzichtpunt op het meer van Longemer.
De naam komt van de val in de afgrond van een oud paard van de boer van de Fachepremontstoppel. Sinds dit ongeluk wordt de rots "lè reuche do vié chevau" genoemd, de rots van het oude paard. In het Lotharingse dialect werd het paard in het enkelvoud "lo chevau" genoemd, maar in het meervoud voegden de Franstaligen een "x" toe.
Waarschuwing: toegang tot dit uitkijkpunt is via een technisch pad. Goede schoenen zijn vereist.
