Ontdek de ijshuizen! De Grande glacière (grote ijshal) van het Château de Chantilly staat sinds 1988 op de monumentenlijst en bevindt zich aan de rand van het bos, tegenover de ingang van het Château, op de Carrefour des Lions. Het heeft een diameter van 9,25 m en is 11 m diep, met een capaciteit van 600 ton ijs. Het was een van de vier ijshuizen van het kasteel van Chantilly! Je kunt het bezoeken tijdens een rondleiding volgens de kalender. De middelgrote ijskelder en de kleine ijskelder: deze bevinden zich nog steeds op het kasteelterrein, maar zijn niet toegankelijk voor het publiek.
De vierde ijskelder bevindt zich in Vineuil Saint Firmin en is open tijdens de Europese Erfgoeddagen.
