Het terrein van 9 hectare, dat in 1971 in gebruik werd genomen en in 2013 werd heringericht, is het hele jaar door toegankelijk. Het biedt een aangename natuurlijke omgeving voor wandelaars en joggers. Bewegwijzerde wandelpaden, kinderspeelplaatsen en verfrissingspunten maken de site compleet.
