Kleine fontein met een bassin versierd met twee maskers die water spuwen en met daarboven een beeldje van een kind dat water uit een kan schenkt.
Op de plaat: Alfred BOUCHER / (Bouy-sur-Orvin (Aube) 1850 - Aix-les-Bains 1934) / Het kind bij de fontein / 1874 / Bronzen afdruk naar een gipsafdruk uit het Musée des Beaux-Arts de Troyes.
Alfred Boucher, die in 1850 in Nogent-sur-Seine werd geboren, was de oprichter van La Ruche in Montparnasse, waar kunstenaars als Léger, Modigliani, Soutrine en Chagall welkom waren. Hij was ook de eerste leraar van Camille Claudel. Hij stierf in 1934 in Aix-les-Bains en ligt begraven op het kerkhof van Nogent-sur-Seine. Veel van zijn werken zijn te zien in het Camille Claudel Museum in Nogent-sur-Seine.
