Stratford-upon-Avon is een stad en een civil parish in het bestuurlijke gebied Stratford-on-Avon, in het Engelse graafschap Warwickshire. De plaats telt 27.445 inwoners.
Stratford is wereldwijd bekend als geboorteplaats en plaats van overlijden van William Shakespeare. De stad dateert uit de tijd van de Angelsaksen en was al in de Middeleeuwen een belangrijke marktplaats. De huidige werkgelegenheid in Stratford wordt gevormd door aluminiumindustrie, botenbouw, de agrarische industrie, een bierbrouwerij en de fabricage van stalen meubelen.
