George Heriot's School is een toonaangevende Britse onafhankelijke primaire en secundaire school aan Lauriston Place in de oude binnenstad van Edinburgh. Het werd opgericht in 1628 als George Heriot's Hospital, door nalatenschap van de koninklijke goudsmid George Heriot en geopend in 1659. De architectuur van het hoofdgebouw van de school is in renaissance-stijl. In 1676 stelde Sir William Bruce plannen op voor de voltooiing van het Heriot's Hospital.
