Gough's Cave is gelegen in Cheddar Gorge op de Mendip Hills, in Cheddar, Somerset, Engeland. De grot is 115 m diep en is 3.405 km lang,
en bevat een verscheidenheid aan grote kamers en rotsformaties. Het bevat de Cheddar Yeo, het grootste ondergrondse riviersysteem in Groot-Brittannië.
De beginsecties van de grot, eerder bekend als Sand Hole, waren toegankelijk vóór de 19e eeuw. Tussen 1892 en 1898 vond een gepensioneerde zeeuji, Richard Cox Gough, die in Lion House in Cheddar woonde, verder gebieden van de grot, tot aan Diamond Chamber, dat is het einde van de showgrot vandaag. Elektrische verlichting werd in 1899 in de showgrotten geïnstalleerd.
