Samtredia is een Georgische stad in het westen van Georgië, aan de rand van een laagvlakte aan de Zwarte Zee, in de vallei van de Rioni. De plaats vormt een knooppunt van wegen, die Koetaisi en Tbilisi in het oosten, Batoemi in het zuiden en Soechoemi in het noorden met elkaar verbinden. Samtredia telt ongeveer 25.318 inwoners en ontstond in de jaren 1880 aan een spoorwegknooppunt.
