Al Hoceima is een Marokkaanse havenstad en badplaats, gelegen aan een beschutte baai aan de Middellandse Zee bij het centrum van het Rifgebergte in het noorden van Marokko. De stad heeft een Spaanse oorsprong. De stad ligt in de gelijknamige provincie Al Hoceima en de regio Taza-Al Hoceïma-Taounate. Al Hoceima ligt aan de voet van een rotsachtige berg en strekt zich uit vanaf de kust tot wijken die op 200 meter hoogte liggen.
Al Hoceima heeft sinds haar Spaanse oprichting in 1925 een band met Spanje onderhouden.
Veel Marokkanen afkomstig uit Al Hoceima wonen vooral in Nederland, Frankrijk, Spanje, Duitsland en België. Deze buitenlandse culturele invloeden hebben ervoor gezorgd dat Al Hoceima een gemengde stad is op gebied van cultuur en taal.
