De Rips is een ontginningsdorp in de gemeente Gemert-Bakel in de Nederlandse provincie Noord-Brabant. Deze plaats had 1.160 inwoners op 1 januari 2021.De geschiedenis van de bewoning in de omgeving gaat ver terug, aangezien er voorwerpen uit de Tjongercultuur werden gevonden.
