Station Eindhoven Centraal is het belangrijkste spoorwegstation van Eindhoven. Het ligt op een knooppunt van drie trajecten: Venlo – Eindhoven, Breda / 's-Hertogenbosch – Eindhoven, Eindhoven – Weert. Tot 1985 bestond er een lijn 18 van Eindhoven via Valkenswaard naar Hasselt. In de stad zijn herinneringen aan deze lijn bewaard gebleven, zoals gebouwen en straatnamen.
