Even in alle rust genieten van de mooie omgeving. Dit was de inspiratie voor de Limburgse kunstenaar Patrick Kusters om tien enorme zitplaatsen te creëren langs de Limburgse Maasroute. Met duurzame, robuuste materialen, zoals hout en staal, vallen de
kunstwerken binnen het ‘cradle tot cradle’-principe.
Bovendien verwijst elk kunstwerk naar een bijzonder verhaal uit de gemeente waarin je je bevindt. Bij Echt-Susteren fiets of wandel je door het Smalste stukje Nederland. Een pauze neem je dan ook op een hele smalle, maar gelukkig wel grote stoel. Vanuit de stoel heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de Maas. Het kunstwerk nodigt uit om te mijmeren, om het moment te koesteren, om de omgeving in je op te nemen.
