Pommerellen is een historische regio in het noordwesten van Polen, gelegen tussen de Oostzee en de rivieren Parsęta , Noteć en Wisła met als belangrijkste plaats Gdańsk . De regio valt deels samen met Kasjoebië.
In de ijzertijd bevond zich vanaf de 7e eeuw v.Chr. in het gebied de Pommerse gezichtsurnencultuur, ook wel Pommerellencultuur genoemd. De dragers van deze cultuur waren mogelijk van Baltische oorsprong. Ook de oeroude barnsteenroute liep van Samland door de delta van de Weichsel tot de Adriatische Zee en verbond zo Pommerellen met het Middellandse Zeegebied.
