Ruine van de oudste koningsburcht in Zweden, gebouwd halverwege de 12e eeuw door Koning Sverker. Vanhieruit werd het land geregeerd tot de burcht in 1318 door brand gedeeltelijk verwoest werd. In de loop der tijd zijn delen van de burcht in het Vätternmeer gestort en nu blijft er nog een klein stukje over.
