Borša is een Slowaakse gemeente in de regio Košice, en maakt deel uit van het district Trebišov.Borša telt 1.235 inwoners. In het dorp staat het Rákóczi kasteel. Hier werd in 1676 de laatste vorst van Transsylvanië, Ferenc Rákóczi II geboren. Hij was van 1704 tot 1711 de gekozen vorst van het vorstendom Transsylvanië. Hij stond in een lange familielijn, ook zijn overgrootvader, grootvader en vader waren periodes vorst van Transsylvanië.
