The forest area "Lüner Holz" is located in the northeast of Lüneburg. To the south, it borders the Lüne Monastery and Moorfeld, while to the north lies Adendorf. The forest is divided in the middle by the B209. It is a beech mixed forest. The Raderbach, a tributary of the Ilmenau, flows through the southern part of Lüner Holz.
