The Queen Astrid Park should not be confused with the Queen Park. The park is located on the square of the same name.
Since the decennial flower exhibitions of the province of Hainaut were organized in Tournai in 1991, the flower beds of this small park have been full of roses of different varieties.
2 water features with fountains embellish the flowered park. The facade of the Musée de la tapesserie shines in the background.
There is also the statue of Louis Gallait, the famous 19th century history painter, born in Tournai, and whose paintings are exhibited in the nearby Museum of Fine Arts (see separate opinions on the statue and the museum)., https: //be.revieweuro.com/hainaut/queen-astrid-park-477527
