The Ockhorst route is a circular hike of about 8 km and starts at the Ludgerus building, very close to the Catholic church of Wichmond-Vierakker. In 2007, this hike was chosen by Landscape Management Gelderland as the most beautiful 'Ummetje' of Gelderland. It shows a piece of typical Achterhoek landscape with fields, meadows, forests, and beautiful old farms.
Dogs are allowed (on a leash),
The route runs over the paths of the estate 'Suideras'. The estate 'Hackfort' and partly over private land, so please adhere to the instructions on the signs.
