Almost six hours and 1000 meters of altitude hiking trip starting and ending at Imada, where a café-stop will be the reward (closed on fridays).
Start at Imada, descend to Lo del Gato, continue to Benchijigua, visit the Eremita de San Juan. There the ascent to the Roque de Agando starts, all the way into the pine-, heather- and laurel forests of the Garajonay National Park.
Return to Imada in a long decent.
The trail follows WALK 8 in the 'Rother Walking Guide' of La Gomera, by Klaus and Annette Wolfsperger.
