This route is part of the 7 Summits, the seven steepest peaks in South Limburg. It is a circular walk of 8.7 km with a maximum height of 197 meters.

Cyclists speak with awe of this heaviest calf-biter in our country and without a doubt call it a mountain. A special surprise for hikers, because the mountain feeling is immediately there when you toil up through the variegated alpine meadow above Piepert.

In the Second World War there was heavy fighting. In the Eyserbos the Germans had hidden in trenches. For four days the Americans shelled the area from the Gulperberg, before the Germans capitulated. After you have reached the top, the hike remains somewhat at height and you always have a different view of the mountain.
