Round Helmerhoek-Enschede South

The route starts according to the description at the WC Enschede-Zuid on Wesselerbrinklaan. I personally started at the Willem van Oranje school at Ravenhorsthoek 34.

If you start at the parking lot behind the WC, head towards Wesselerbrinklaan and turn right into the path before Wesselerbrinklaan. Then turn left to Wesselerbrinklaan, cross it (path). At Bijvank, turn right and immediately left across Geessinkweg, then right onto the path. Keep left at the diagonal intersection. This path leads into Oostervelderblokweg, on the right. Then leave the path on the right and take the left path a bit further. This is a winding path that bends to the left, along Helmerzijde. Follow the path until a right-turning path appears to Broeheurnerring. Take this path. Cross the road, go a bit to the left and then to the right into Koppelboerhoek. This leads into Kevelhamhoek. Turn left, right, and at the Y-junction turn right (still Kevelhamhoek), take the 2nd path to the right and go left at Runenberghoek. Go onto the cycle path that runs between the 2 schools. Follow the path that bends to the left. The path crosses another path. You are now walking behind the school and the houses. Cross Houwbeek and Oorthuishoek and continue following the stream. After Harsseveldhoek, go left across the stream and immediately right. At the T-junction, turn right and immediately left. At Bekspringhoek, cross the stream again, then right until the T-junction (Usseler Markeweg), turn left. Right at the bus stop (Geessinkbraakweg). Go left along Geessinkweg (take the parallel path). Then right to Het Oosterveld, until the T-junction right (Herikebrink). Take the 2nd road on the right (this is a path along the houses on the left side). This path bends diagonally to the right and ends in a curve. Here, go left to Stokkumbrink. Go to the Y-junction (left = a path, right = a road). Take the road. Then twice left at the next Y-junction right, cross Wesselerweg. Again you come to a Y-junction. Here, go right along the water. You are in Wesselerbrinkpark. Then go right over the bridge and past the water on the left. Then once more left to Lintveldebrink and then take the 2nd path on the right at Broekheurneweg. Go a bit to the right, then cross and left. Then twice right to the WC (Wesselerbrinklaan) and you are back at the start.
