Anticamente dimora della marchesa di Montalembert, questo castello nel sud del dipartimento della Vienne fu costruito tra il XVI e il XVIII secolo. L'edificio ha due padiglioni e due ali, con l'ala sud che contiene la cappella, il cui arredamento è completamente scomparso. I proprietari sono riusciti a conservare i decori e gli arredi dell'epoca di costruzione nelle venti stanze che sono state restaurate, offrendo ai visitatori un'esperienza più coinvolgente. Grazie alle sue facciate e ai suoi tetti, il castello di Epanvilliers è stato classificato come monumento storico nel 1980 e nel 1997. Il castello ospita il "Musée du Jeu Ancien" (Museo dei Giochi Antichi), dove è possibile scoprire a cosa giocavano i nostri antenati nel Medioevo e talvolta anche nell'Antichità.
